I was thinking about the course earlier today as I was listening to the radio on my 2 hour drive to my dad’s house. It was sunny and warm and that combination usually puts me in the mood to hear some music while I drive. Sadly my Ipod had a dead battery and I was forced to listen to the radio. Something I haven’t done since I first got my Ipod about a year ago. I was instantly reminded why I stopped listening to commercial radio in the first place. Too many advertisements and not enough music, or content. This got me thinking about class and the fact that we will be studying ways in which we can use pod-casting as a marketing tool. I started to worry that the projects I will be working on this quarter will affect someone else just as the commercials on the radio affected me, even if it is very subtle. I’m worried about contributing to something I personally critique
I have just subscribed to two pod-casts and 3 blogs for the first time today. I suppose these site have their sponsors too, but I hope I don’t get beaten over the head with their advertisments. Below are the links to my subscribed blogs and pod-casts.
